Chris Swift

Chris Swift

Chris Swift is a Nashville native, and attended Austin Peay and Middle Tennessee State Universities. Mr. Swift spent several years in the lending industry before he became fascinated with the facilitation of trade in commodities. In 1991, Mr. Swift went to work as a retail commodity broker with J.C. Bradford & Co. until 2000, when the company sold, and a portion of the brokers went to Rosenthal Collins Group. For fourteen years, Mr. Swift wore multiple hats in the Nashville branch office. As of the end os 2014, Mr. Swift changed his affiliation from Branch Manager to form Swift Trading Company, a GIB currently clearing through ADMIS. Today, Mr. Swift focuses on helping guide his clients through the rigors of inherent price risk associated with livestock production. He authors two daily commentaries in addition to offering brokerage services.

The feeder cattle index is void of computer generated algorithms or "spoofing" that can impact the decision making factors of a trader.  Only cattle feeders have any need at all to buy feeder cattle. ...

Shootin' the Bull about slowing economic growth

In my opinion, further clues were presented at the end of the week via the unemployment report as to further weakening of the economy.  Stagflation has settled in with the Fed's Powell stating this week...
